When John Lewis wanted to pioneer its first click and collect service, it did it through Metapack. As well as enabling click and collect, they wanted to improve cross-channel shopping experiences, streamline delivery of large products to customer addresses, and provide detailed tracking information. The products and services they used were Metapack manager, intelligent allocation, automation, and data analysis.
Using Metapack, John Lewis have seen a reduction in delivery failures, brought down operating costs, broadened their delivery and collection options for the customer, and the substantial growth they have seen in click and collect means it now represents 40% of online delivery activity. John Lewis have also been able to integrate their delivery fleet into the Metapack system.
